English: in the overnight train back to Guwahati with rapper Lavesh and beatboxer Ragu (of Gully Boy fame) + Jeet Thayil whose band HMT performed at the festival. Lavesh and Raghu created instant poetry and music for three non-stop hours. Brilliant!
They rapped about everything -- just give them a word (as we all did), and they would instantly rap about it. With great clarity of thought, depth and meaning. |
