DescriptionPAFWorldRecordLoop1958.webm	English: Air Marshal Asghar Khan selected Wing Commander Zafar ‘Mitty’ Masud to lead the air display. Mitty’s team consisted of six squadron leaders (Bill) Latif, SU Khan, Ghulam Haider, SM Ahmad, Aftab Ahmad, Sadruddin Hossain; and nine flight lieutenants Sajjad (Nosey) Haider, AU Ahmad, Hameed Anwar, Muniruddin Ahmad, M Arshad, Jamal Khan, AMK Lodhie, Wiqar Azim and Middlecoat. The team set the world record by performing a 16 aircraft diamond loop on 2 February 1958. President of Pakistan Maj General Iskandar Ali Mirza, First Lady Nahid Mirza, C-in-C Pakistan Army General Ayub Khan, C-in-C PAK Air Force Asghar Khan, Air Commodore Nur Khan, C-in-C Turkish Air Force Hamdullah Suphi Göker, Air Chief Iraqi Air Force Abdul Kadhim Abaddi, Air Chief of the Imperial Iranian Air Force and Chief Guest King of Afghanistan Mohammad Zahir Shah are all seen in the video. Despite not having the chance to perform in the loop, FS Hussain received appreciation from Asghar Khan for training the pilots who achieved the feat.
