Summary
| Description |
Nederlands: Na het dichten van de dijken die in 1944 werden gebombardeerd door de Geallieerden, komt Walcheren op sommige plaatsen alweer droog te liggen. Op deze plaatsen is te zien wat voor schade het water heeft aangericht: boomgaarden en akkers zijn veranderd in dood land; wegen zijn vernield; graven op een kerkhof liggen schots en scheef; huizen zijn ingestort en het drooggevallen gebied is bedekt met een dikke laag modder. Overal zijn mensen bezig met opruimen en schoonmaken. 00:39 bomen en palen zijn overgroeid door mosselen. |
