Redirect to:
- From a subtopic: This is a redirect from a subtopic of the target article or section.
- If the redirected subtopic could potentially have its own article in the future, then also tag the redirect with {{R with possibilities}} and {{R printworthy}}.
- To a section: This is a redirect from a topic that does not have its own page to a section of a page on the subject. For redirects to embedded anchors on a page, use {{R to anchor}} instead.
- From an avoided double redirect: This is a redirect from an alternative title or related topic of Neighbourhood basis, a former redirect to the same title.
- This is a broken redirect (its target does not exist).
- From a synonym: This is a redirect from a semantic synonym of the target page title.
- For example: automobile
car - This template should not be used to tag redirects that are taxonomic synonyms. For taxonomic synonyms use {{R from alternative scientific name}} instead.
