Scott Deerwester

Scott Craig Deerwester (born 1956) is a notable computer scientist recognized as one of the inventors of latent semantic analysis (LSA),[1][2] a significant method in the field of natural language processing. He has held academic positions at Colgate University, the University of Chicago, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
