This template is a wrapper around the citation template {{Cite BDA1906}}
. It places a prescript before the citation template to meet the requirements of the section "copying material from free sources" in the plagiarism guideline. this template must be used in place of {{Cite BDA1906}}
if text is copied from an article in The Biographical Dictionary of America into a Wikipedia article.
This template uses two parameters:
noicon=any text
— prevents the display of the leading icon (N.B, any text is usually either "1", "x", "y" or "yes").inline=any text
– alter wording in the prescript from "This article..." to "One or more of the preceding sentences..." the latter is use if the template is used within a ref..tag pair as an inline citation (displayed as a footnote).
