Template:BestOfSevenSeriesTable
This template is designed to be used for knockout tournaments using a best-of-n format, where 3 ≤ n ≤ 7. The template is adapted from the existing Finnish Wikipedia template at fi:Malline:Ottelusarja; see its history for attribution.

Parameters
The template does not have any required parameters. If the blank template is added to an article, it will produce this:

Use the template parameters as described below and pay particular attention to the use of hyphen rather than en dash or em dash.
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
team1 | Linked name, often the higher seeded team or competitor. |
team2 | Linked name, often the lower seeded team or competitor. |
datex | Date game or match was played. Template:Start date can be used. |
homex | By default, the template alternates home advantage (i.e. team listed first) every game. If the tournament is played on a different schedule, you may adjust the home team using "home1 = 2," "home2 = 1," "home3 = 2," etc. Remove the parameter from any game or match where it not in use. |
scorex | Final score of a march or game using format 0-0 (hyphen only), home team listed first. |
notex | Additional information in short form, such as OT for overtime. An external link to the official box score or game sheet may be included. |
winsx | Total score of series, team1-team2. |
commentx | Series score in text. Example: Team Red leads the series 2–1. or The series is tied 3–3. |
