This template is preloaded into a new GA review to provide step-by-step instructions (as hidden text), which can be found at {{GAN/instructions}}. It can be configured to resemble {{GAList}}, {{GAList2}}, {{GATable}} or {{GAProgress}}; to remove the instructions; or to delete itself.

See below for examples. Can be set to:

• <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">compact</syntaxhighlight> or <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">GAList</syntaxhighlight> to make the template resemble {{GAList}}
• <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">expanded</syntaxhighlight> or <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">GAList2</syntaxhighlight> to make it resemble {{GAList2}}
• <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">table</syntaxhighlight> or <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">GATable</syntaxhighlight> to make it resemble {{GATable}}
• <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">progress</syntaxhighlight> or <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">GAProgress</syntaxhighlight> to make it resemble {{GAProgress}}
• <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">none</syntaxhighlight> or <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">delete</syntaxhighlight> to delete the template
• empty or any other value to get the default output

instructions

Set to <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">yes</syntaxhighlight> to enable hidden text with instructions. Any other value disables the instructions.

Parameters ending in -com

For comments on the individual GA criteria, with |overcom= for opening remarks and |7com= for concluding remarks.

All others

Status indicators that take one of these values:
