Basic usage

Parameters
All parameters of the form stem1
, stem2
, stem3
, ... where stem
is the base stem name for the parameter and the 1
, 2
, 3
correspond to the first, second, and third columns in the table. If there is more than one entry in a column, an additional a
, b
, and c
can be appended to the end of the parameter (after the number). For example, for two meanings in the first column use |meaning1a=
and |meaning1b=
. Using two numbers will create an entry which spans more than one column. For example, if the same meaning applies to first two columns, use |meaning12=
. If the same meaning applies to all three columns, use |meaning13=
.
Parameter | Description |

lang
|
Language for the entries in the first (lang1 ), second (lang2 ), and third columns (lang3 ). Use PG for Proto-Germanic, OE for Old English, or ON for Old Norse. This parameter is not case sensitive.

name
|
Name assigned to the entries in the first (name1 ), second (name2 ), and third columns (name3 ). If there is more than one name for a particular language, use name1a and name1b and/or name2a and name2b and/or name3a and name3b .

|
The English translation or meaning of the rune in the various languages. |
shape
|
An image showing the shape of the rune in the various languages, should be sized to 50px high using the image format [[File:Rune image.png|x50px]] .

unicode hex
|
The four hex digit code for the unicode symbol of the rune in the various languages. Typically there is a one-to-one correspondence between these symbols and the shape images. If there is more than one unicode symbol for a particular rune shape, separate the four digit hex codes with commas. |
