The point of this template is to reduce the amount of coding each year to create the MLB playoffs nav box. It was created to suit all playoffs rounds going back to the creation of the League Championship Series in 1969.

Usage

Parameter list

• page - REQUIRED Defines the template's page name.
• year - REQUIRED Defines the year the template is being used for, fills in a majority of the template.
• lds - REQUIRED If "yes" is put it will add the American League Division Series and National League Division Series to the template's coding. If "no" is put, it will be left out. If nothing is put it will default to "yes".
• wc - REQUIRED If "yes" is put it will add the Wild Card playoff games to the template's coding. If "no" is put, it will be left out. If nothing is put it will default to "yes".
• wcs - REQUIRED If "yes" is put it will add the Wild Card Series to the template's coding. If "no" is put, it will be left out. If nothing is put it will default to "no".
• alteam1 - REQUIRED Defines the alphabetical first American League team in that year's playoffs. If no teams have been determined, put "TBD".
• alteam2 - Defines the alphabetical second American League team in that year's playoffs.
• alteam3 - Defines the alphabetical third American League team in that year's playoffs.
• alteam4 - Defines the alphabetical fourth American League team in that year's playoffs.
• alteam5 - Defines the alphabetical fifth American League team in that year's playoffs.
• alteam6 - Defines the alphabetical sixth American League team in that year's playoffs.
• nlteam1 - REQUIRED Defines the alphabetical first National League team in that year's playoffs. If no teams have been determined, put "TBD".
• nlteam2 - Defines the alphabetical second National League team in that year's playoffs.
• nlteam3 - Defines the alphabetical third National League team in that year's playoffs.
• nlteam4 - Defines the alphabetical fourth National League team in that year's playoffs.
• nlteam5 - Defines the alphabetical fifth National League team in that year's playoffs.
• nlteam6 - Defines the alphabetical sixth National League team in that year's playoffs.
