Template:Poll top/doc

Use this template and its couple, {{poll bottom}}, to archive talk page discussions.

Usage

Above the discussion, use either:

<syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext">{{subst:polltop|type=<type>}} <verdict></syntaxhighlight>

• <type> is used when it is not a move proposal.
• <verdict> is one or two words that explains the result of the discussion.

Or:

<syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext">{{subst:polltop|result=<result>}}</syntaxhighlight>

• <result> is a sentence that describes the outcome of the discussion.

Below the discussion:
