Template:RSP entry/doc

From English Wikipedia @ Freddythechick

This template displays a link to an entry in the perennial sources list (WP:RSP). It is intended to be used inline on talk pages and in the project namespace.

Usage

This template accepts up to four unnamed parameters, only the first of which is required:

  1. The ID of the source (required)
    • To find this, go to the table row in WP:RSPSOURCES, and locate the value of the id attribute of the source's row.
    • This parameter controls the destination of the (RSP entry) link. For example, an ID of <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">Source ID</syntaxhighlight> makes the link point to Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources#Source ID.
  2. Text to be displayed in front of the (RSP entry) link (optional)
    • This parameter is intended to be used for the name of the source, which may be linked to the corresponding article. Formatting is allowed in this parameter.
  3. Status of the source (optional)
  4. Blacklist status (optional)
    • Set this parameter to <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">y</syntaxhighlight> if the source is blacklisted. This displays the Blacklisted icon in front of the status icon.
