Template:Table template counter/doc

This template can be used to count the rows with a specified template in a table.

Usage

{{Table template counter|tableno=table number|templatename=name of the template without quotes|page=page name|id=table id}}

• Either Table Number or Table Id and Template Name are required.
• Template will return zero if no template name is specified.
• Page is optional. Only specify when required to count from another article/page. By default it will count from the page where the template is used.

Here is an example of a table with a template 'huge':

</syntaxhighlight> Note: Only one occurrence of the template will be counted from each row. So only one 'huge' template is counted from the fourth row.
