This template is used to create a category for a given decade in any one of the Thirteen Colonies of British colonial North America, e.g. Category:1690s in the Province of Massachusetts Bay.
Note that it doesn't work on New York.
Usage
<syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext" inline>Template:YYY0s in one of the Thirteen Colonies category is for use only on category pages whose title is of the form "YYY0s in Foo", where YYY0s is a 4-digit decade and "Foo" one of the Thirteen Colonies (e.g. "New York" or "Virginia")</syntaxhighlight>
