This template shows the bare periodic table. For the box with title and caption, see {{Periodic table (micro)}}

Usage

Usually inside another box ({{infobox element}} and {{periodic table (micro)}} stand-alone box}}

Parameters

Marking elements

Cells can be marked by entering a list of symbols: |mark=Au, Ag, Hg.

Extended periodic table

The template takes parameter <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">number=</syntaxhighlight> (atomic number). When this number is >118, the template expands with periods 8 and above, adding the (predicted) elements with atomic number >119. Apart from this 118/119 switching, the parameter is not used as an atomic number.

Caveat emptor: These options we build to support the (wiki and RL) group-3 discussion. It has been settled based in the Provisional Report (Jan 2021).^[1] The variants here are kept, but may be less thoroughly maintained. July 2021
